Darlins - If you're looking for a place to stay in Puerto Vallarta for New Years THIS year - most of the Condos & Villas in Vallarta have been sold out for 6++ months!!!  Gay properties - 3-4+ months!   We're ALREADY taking reservations for NEXT New Years (2007-2008 - Ready to book it now??).

With Puerto Vallarta being THE HOTTEST Warm Weather Destination these days - MUCH (not all though) of Vallarta is booked from now till at LEAST around the middle/end of March & many places till Easter (April 8, 2007) with February being WAYYYYYY BOOKED!!

• DEC. 29+ -   Next to it a VERY UPSCALE/EXPENSIVE 4-bedroom (sleeps 8 MAX) at $3250 ($3800 with the 17% tax).
• Rent them both for 9 bedrooms - can sleep up to 18 people BUT BUT BUT - these 2 properties do NOT NOT NOT NOT ALLOW ANY outside guests (without permission from the Manager), NO NO NO overnight guests not in the contract & ABSOLUTELY NO NO NO NO PARTIES PERIOD!!! (unfortunately, tooo many people have blown it for others.  Sadly MANY properties are cracking down on this & if it happens - you're outta there THEN!!! [not the next day!!!]

COSTA RICA

5, 6 or 7 bedroom Casa right in the heart of the Beverly Hills of Costa Rica - Escazu!   Just 12 min. #4  -  CRUCIAL question & be BEYOND realistic as xmas & New Years are THE BUSIEST weeks of the month (in a destination where there's mainly only about 4 month of the year where owners get to recoup their investments - all because the CONSUMER CHOOSES to mainly just travel then) & some properties literally triple their rates from their value/low season rates - "Ultimately we want to spend $ per night (meaning we'd feel REALLY HAPPY paying this price & don't joke please since this time of year ain't funny when it comes to prices!!), but we don't want to spend more than $ per night WITH the 17% tax!!" (MAX MAX MAX as if you don't give us your max - we won't offer you something that high & ya might have to sleep on the beach!!)  Unless it's TRULY TRUE - do NOT say "Money is not an issue" as we've had places for OVER $4,000 per NIGHT for New Years!!!
#5  -  Gettin' REALLY REAL here, how far are you willing to be from the heart of the action - 15 min. by bus/taxi?  The more flexible you are, the better your chances of getting something.  With that said - New Years Eve - even if you're out in Conchas Chinas - good luck finding a taxi (I was there a few years ago for NY & waited THREE HOURS for a taxi so finally I took off my "CFMP" shoes & stockings & walked barefoot down the DARK cobblestone streets for 40 min. (the next few days I couldn't walk as my feet were bruised. Keep the heels at home!!).     minutes by (walking, bus, taxi)

#7  -  How many people are going & how many beds are needed (almost all of our people ONLY allow 2 people per bedroom MAX!!  Some buildings will actually remove you if you sneak in more.  What booking with Doin it Right different is we tell you these things instead of "Surprise!!")?  If any kids are coming - please give the ages (some properties have minimum ages for kids). #8  -  Are there any amenities that are crucial to you?
#9  -  Is your intention to use the property for a Party & if so, for how many?   An HONEST answer is BEYOND CRUCIAL as MOST properties won't allow more than 1-2 extra people more than the total amount of people on the contract MAX (some won't allow guests at ALL anymore no thanks to a few fools that have blown it for the rest of us) while others require a Event Fee which is usually equal to a full night rent or more plus an Event Deposit (to cover wear & tear & potential theft which unfortunately does happen sometimes when you invite some less than honorable locals [or tourists]).   Either way - 99% of the properties require NO NOISE AFTER 10pm.   I'm SURE you don't want to be kicked out or arrested (which HAS been known to happen with people breaking the rules [another BIG difference with us as we tell you this UP FRONT instead of "Surprise - you're under arrest" or being kicked out!!]). #10  -  Knowing there's a GOOD chance of not getting the "perfect place" THIS LATE in the game (book NOW NOW NOW for next year for that since things are ALREADY getting booked for NEXT New Years!!) - what areas are you willing to compromise?  If you're used to upscale, are you willing to have something not so upscale vs. not going to Vallarta?  If you're seeking moderate - is basic ok vs. sleeping on the beach (which is actually illegal in Vallarta)?
