G7 - Hotel Mercurio is a quaint Gay HOTEL located about a 6 minute walk to the blue/GREEN Chairs - mid-way between it all in Puerto Vallarta's "Gayborhood" - Old Town•SouthSide•Muertos Beach area - 1-1/2 blocks up from the Muertos Pier and within a couple of blocks from many restaurants on Olas Altas (and Garbo’s Jazz Lounge, Kit Kat Restaurant and Lounge and Bench and Bar [formerly The Palm]!!)!

Hotel Mercurio has 28 rooms (11 "Single" rooms with either one double or one queen bed, 11 "Double" rooms with 2 double beds [some available with kitchenette] and 6 "King" bed rooms with a King bed with a kitchenette available]) with a more comfortable Pillow-top mattress.

Hotel Mercurio provides a FREE Daily Continental Breakfast Buffet (coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, tea and Mexican sweet rolls) from 8-10:30am, Evening Turn-Down Service.   Inquire for current Laundry Service rates.

Enjoy the nice Pool Courtyard area with an inviting medium sized HEATED POOL (from 9am-10pm - FYI - there's not lots of direct sun in the pool area.   Please be respectful of the other guests here desiring a peaceful vacation).   No need to bring your own beach towel - use your “Towel Card” for a Large towel for the pool or beach (FREE!! [and RARE])!

Each room has fluffy pillows and towels, good quality bedding, a private bathroom, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, cable tv (their CABLE TV has the MOST ENGLISH LANGUAGE STATION we’ve found at the various gay properties), a small fridge and a built-in safe.    

"Kitchennette" ammenities are available for +$8/day in a few rooms.   Those rooms have a sink & small counter top & above are wood cabinets that are locked (till you pay to gain access) with a coffee maker, toaster, dishes, glasses & flatwear for 4, a fry pan & one cooking pot, cooking utensils, a couple of knives, cutting board,   electric hot plate, dish rack & paper towels.   A MICROWAVE is available for $5/day WITH the Kitchenette Plan.

G7 has clean rooms and good housekeeping daily (7 days a week)

The VERY helpful Front Desk staff is there for you 24/7 (often the late night crew doesn’t speak much English so please be patient with that) so you can leave your key with them & not have to worry about loosing it on the dance floor or on the beach!!   They also have Concierge Service to help you book tours or make reservations at your favorite restaurant and more!!!   

One bottle of purified water is provided for you each day (I saw a water dispenser on the 2nd floor that you can refill it with).   You can purchase Coke, Fanta & Fresca & more bottles of purified water at the front desk).

Guests” are welcome though NON-registered guests UNDER 18 are NOT (ALL non-registered guests MUST show valid, government issued photo id!!!   There are NO exceptions to this rule)!!!   

Hotel Mercurio is a HOTEL so just a room.   They do NOT have any rooms with a Balcony or View. No Phones in the rooms (there is a payphone in the lobby).   No clock radio.   There is some street noise but the air-conditioning can help drown it out if you're hyper-sensitive to noise.

CHECK-IN:   3pm (if you arrive early & your room is not ready, you can leave your luggage with the front desk).   CHECK-OUT:   Noon (arrangements for late check-out usually can’t be made till the day before as they often have last minute guests & don’t know what’s available till the last minute.   There's a small fee for late check-out).
