- Housekeeping comes Mon.-Sat. (never on Sun. or Mexican Holidays) to the the basics (dishes are NOT included. The truth is, staff can ACTUALLY get fired for doin' extra work while on duty as they get behind in their regular work. If you'd like extra service, perhaps they can come back off-hours?!?!?!?). Towels are refreshed each time & bedding is changed weekly (unless you request more frequently [of course you'll be tipping &/or paying extra for this!!]).
- Elevator (only 3 steps down from the outside to the Lobby for those with mobility restrictions/limitations)
- A nice Beachfront Restaurant with great/cheap breakfasts, great presentation, ROMANTIC, a GREAT place to watch the Sun Set & LIVE entertainment most nights (romantic guitar!!) (ask for a table on the sand!). IF they're not too busy (& they like you!!) they'll even deliver Room Service so it's like being in a QUAINT mini-resort/hotel (yet with charm!!)!!!
- Phone - a Phone is available for Local & Long Distance Service (pay at the front desk)
ALL of the units FACING the Beach here are 2-bedrooms. As usual - price tends to go up the higher you go (though not always decor!!) & the nicer the unit. The units facing the side are Studios with a partial bay & southern view more from balcony & 2-bedroom that offer a side/Southern View (MY FAVORITE - quieter & more green/romantic!! You have a Bay view from the Bed here!!). All 1-bedrooms are back units, with no view, rather noisy "lively" & have a more basic decor.
Most units have a nice Mexican/National decor and all have A/C in the bedrooms, living/dining rooms and kitchens with the basics. Number of bathrooms match number of bedrooms.
FYI - Info on units FACING the Beach. Because the "waves" within Banderas Bay (it's a GIANT "bay" - NOT an "ocean"!!!) are what surfers call "shore-breakers" (body surf at your own risk because they're called that for a reason!!) - you don't really have the "soothing" of the sea sound. Matter-of-fact - the waves can come CRASHING & be VERY jolting!! Facing West/the beach you also get the beach noise, restaurant noise (if there is one) which often can include the mariachi's till LATE at night AND - the HEAT of the LONG Summer afternoons - even the best air-conditioner in the million $$ homes can't cool down a room often so PERSONALLY I feel that ESPECIALLY May-Oct. - Side units with partial Bay/Beach views are PREFERABLE!! I'm a REAL FAN of the Southern & City View Units as I find it VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!
The perception I receive from MANY people is that they think they're "Going To Mexico" so accommodations should be dirt cheap. REALITY CHECK!!! It's important to know that a more basic 2-bedroom condo STARTS AT $260,000 U.S.$$$$'s PLUS the owners have to pay $450-$700+/per MONTH in Condo Association Dues, PLUS their electricity & if they're acting legitimately, they're also paying the "Hacienda" (the tax man) 17% so being beachfront ain't as cheap as many perceive. If you want cheap - travel June-Sept.!!!

This BEAUTIFUL 2 Bedroom Beachfront Penthouse ON Muertos Beach with all the conveniences of home like a full kitchen with microwave & more, cd boombox, tv, vcr & dvd & more.
They have the standard King in the Master Bedroom & it's own bathroom & 2 Twin beds that can push together & make into a King in the 2nd/back Bedroom which uses the bathroom in the hall & a phone in your unit for local & long distance calls (for a fee).
C115 has nice balcony where you can sit & sip your coffee & watch the dolphins playing just off the pier!!! The complex has a rooftop pool, 24/7 Front Desk staff, housekeeping Mon.-Sat. (never on Sun. or Mexican holidays), room service from a NICE restaurant (not hotel food here!!). Sleeps 4 MAX!!!
This 1st floor beachfront 2-bedroom condo was COMPLETELY gutted & renovated a year ago & it's VERY nice!! Though it's on the "1st floor" - like throughout the world, the ground level is really Level 0 so this unit is one floor up from the beach & faces the beach (with a beach/water view from the balcony & Master Bedroom) above the restaurant (the guests that have stayed there have LOVED the unit & said of the noise - they just turned the a/c on in the bedroom & had no problem. Gives you first dibs on the guests & beach goers below!!). The Master Suite in C201 has a King bed & a GREAT bathroom with a Double Head Shower & even a hairdryer!!!! The Guestroom has 2 Twin beds that can push together to make into a King bed. This REALLY NICELY decorated condo has wonderful cobalt blue tiles in the kitchen along with a microwave & many modern conveniences including an iron & ironing board! The livingroom has a BEAUTIFUL handpainted mural the whole length of the wall, a cd/cassette boombox & a special satellite tv that gives you LOTS of channels to choose from (to access the satellite tv, you must leave a $100 cash deposit at the front desk for use of the remote (the $100 is returned to them when they return the remote).

One of our favorite features in this Top Level/Penthouse (penthouse means top floor - not glamorous) 2-Bedroom, 2-Bathroom, 1,100+ sq', more rusticy side unit condo is the BEAUTIFUL VIEW off the Master Bedroom & Livingroom & spacious Balcony looking out onto the bay & the southern end of the cove on Muertos Beach!!! The TALL CEILINGS give you a more spacious feeling!! This is another “Vicki’s Slept Here” unit!! The kitchen has the basics including a microwave & of course - a coffee maker & you have 2 tvs & a cd boombox. The Master bedroom has a King bed & the 2nd bedroom has 2 Twin beds that can push together to make into a King!

Located in a Beachfront Condo Complex with WONDERFUL Front-Desk staff 24/7 & a Beachfront Restaurant that even does RoomService!!! The Rooftop Pool also gives you spectacular views!!!
